When a child in a rural village is given the opportunity to continue school rather than going to work, the potential for a better life increases tremendously. Last year The English Connection helped 12 families in the Guatemalan village of San Juan Moca provide a year of education for a child. This year we hope to increase that number to 15.

In addition to our scholarship program our ministry in former Communist Europe has grown in ways we could not imagine and God has opened doors for us that were closed for years. But unfortunately an increase in opportunities to serve leads to an increase in operational costs.

Our goal for November and December is $20,000.00.
